Sahara Dunes Tour
The desert and mountain area of Southern Morocco provides some spectacular scenery for an exciting and challenging safari by 4 x 4. From the rugged mountains and rough tracks (pistes) through river valleys and gorges, past remote Berber villages to the lush green oases, palm groves and desert dunes of the Sahara, this will be an exhilarating and memorable experience for anyone with a sense of adventure. Departures are from Marrakech or Imlil.

Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Imlil – Zagora. Leaving in the morning you will drive to Zagora through the High Atlas Mountains by the Tizi n’Tichka pass (2260m) via Agdz stop for lunch in Agdz, Arriving in Zagora you’ll find yourself in a typical oasis, and important stopping point for camel caravans and now a gateway to the desert. You will stay in Hotel. We stop at the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou for a short visit after on our way back from Zagora,
Day 2: Zagora – Aït Benhaddou – Marrakech. Return to Marrakesh stopping for lunch at Aït Benhaddou, an early departure (6am) from Zagora will give enough time to explore the ancient mud walled Kasbah. Aït Benhaddou is a ‘fortified city’, or ksar, along the former caravan route between the Sahara and Marrakech. Arrive in Marrakesh at late afternoon
