We at Walking in Morocco offer an infinite variety of walking options; an excellent 3/4 days Valleys Villages hike in High Atlas Mountains with an ascent of Jebel Toubkal climb if you would be ascendinga the peak,

2 days and 1 night valleys and villages’ hike takes you to valleys and villages inhabited by the friendly Berber tribe. The Mt Toubkal in 2 days is also challenge and means walking at altitude but is a great achievement to a trek.

Enjoy our amazing 5/6 days circuit passing through Atlas Villages round trek started in Imlil at a modest altitude of around 2,000m. Our superb 6-day treks leads through more remote trekking areas such as the nomadic trek into Jebel Sharo, the extreme side of the Mt Mgone, and Sirwa Massif.

We also offer some fantastic overnight to the coastal village of Essaouirra where you ride camel on deserted beaches, or an exciting adventure to the Sahara desert by 4 x 4 that can be tackled in just a couple of days.

A gentle day walks from Marrakech if that is what everyone are looking for, It is a long day as it starts and ends with about a 2 hour journey back to city – something which is available daily.

“What an amazing week! Morocco has totally exceeded expectations. An amazing culture, the most friendly and welcoming people, incredible food and out of this world landscapes. Up at the summit of Toubkal, 4,167m altitude, the views are breathtaking and worth every single breathless step to get there. And the beauty of a sunset and sunrise at the dessert are impossible to describe. Thank you so much to Mohamed Ben Brahim for organising the most incredible trip for us, to Ibrahim (our guide) and Hamid (our cook and muleteer) for helping us get to the top of Toubkal, the villagers at Aroumd for being so welcoming after two long hiking days, to Adel Abdellatif, our driver to Zagora (what a fun road trip!) and all the staff at the Riad Jomana in Marrakesh who were so friendly and welcoming, and bent over backwards to help us with anything we needed. Absolutely loved every minute of our Morocco experience and really hope to come back…”

“I’ll soon be sharing info about a rather big mountain that a few of us are climbing in January, but first, here’s a few pics from one of our training walks in Morocco, climbing Toubkal (4130 metres). The amazing trip was with Stuart James and we had an awesome guide Mohamed Ben Brahim who has a fantastic place in the mountains and can easily guide you up the mountain. It’s tough, but very doable in 2 days, so let me know if you fancy it 😉
And a few pics from Marrakesh too.”

Thanks to Mohamed Ben Brahim for making this awesome adventure. Along with the help of Walking in Morocco for arranging a 2 day Mt Toubkal Trek.

The weather was great, and the Berber people are friendly and hospitable. The accommodation was warm, and comfortable, The scenery from the summit of Mt Toubkal was spectacular and not too difficult for anyone of moderate fitness to achieve. It was fascinating to experience Berber village life for just a short while. I highly recommend it! Special thanks to our guide Ibrahim and Hamid.
