This round-trip takes six days; A walk in the High Atlas will bring you into close contact with the Berbers, and you are encouraged to mix with these friendly people &#8211; you will find your trip greatly enhanced by close contact with village life, your guide will ensure that during your stay in the mountains you acclimatise enough before start trekking. At altitude you will find yourself moving slower than usual, but this gives an excellent opportunity to admire the spectacular views.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table is-style-stripes\"><table><tbody><tr><td>Most successful treks are tailor made with client requirements, age and numbers in consideration. Please have dates in mind and approximate number of people.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>All our treks include an English speaking guide, mules and a cook, transport to and from Marrakech and all food whilst on the trek.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"text-transform:uppercase\"><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-neve-link-color-color\">WalkING Itinerary<\/mark><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>DAY 1:<\/strong> <strong>MARRAKIECH &#8211; IMLIL &#8211; AROUMD<\/strong>. Our day starts with a two hour drive to the High Atlas village of Aroumd (1950m). An attractive village located at about 1600mt (6,300 feet), and densely planted with walnut trees, &#8211;theJebel Toubkal massif a unique landscape of streams, rocks and valleys. You will have the balance of the day to walk and explore this typical village<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>DAY 2:<\/strong> <strong>AROUMD &#8211; TIZI-n&#8217;TAMETERT \u2013 TINERHOURHINE VILLAGE<\/strong>. At around 9 in the morning set out from Marrakech for a pleasantly exhilarating 1\/2 hour drive south into the High Atlas Mountains toward the tiny hamlet of Imlil. From here we walk along a mule track to the Berber village of Tinerhourhine over Tizi n\u2019Tamertert into the Imenane Valley (Total walking approx. 4\/5hrs).overnight in gite (included meals: B, L, D).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>DAY 3:<\/strong> <strong>TINERHOURHINE VILLAGE &#8211; IMENANE VALLEY &#8211; AGUERSIOU\u00c5L &#8211; MATAT<\/strong>. We set out today towards the east, up winding mule tracks to the ikkis (2100m), and thence up to the Tizi Aguersiou\u00e2l (1938m). Once through the col we shall now go down more winding mule tracks leading to the village of Aguersiou\u00e2l where we stop for our lunch before we head to our (Berber House) at village of Matat (Total walking approx. 5-6 hrs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>DAY 4:<\/strong> <strong>MATAT &#8211; AZADEN VALLEY &#8211; TIZI N&#8217;OUSSEM &#8211; \u00c2AZIB TAMSOULT<\/strong>. Depart the Matat camp towards the village of Id Aissa whilst passing at Tizi-Oudite, now we set off on an interesting 3 hour hike up along the Azaden Valley, passing through almond groves and several Berber villages, up through the Tizi n&#8217;Oussem, on to the hamlet of Tissi Oussem (1800m) and the \u00c2azib Tamsoult (2250m), where we have lunch and Overnight. (Total walking approx. 3-4 hrs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>DAY 5:<\/strong> <strong>\u00c2AZIB TAMSOULT &#8211; TIZI M&#8217;ZIK \u2013 IMLIL \u2013&nbsp;AROUMD<\/strong>. We strike out up through pine and juniper trees to traverse the Tizi M&#8217;Zik and descend slowly to the foot of the col just before the hamlet of M&#8217;Zik (1806m). This afternoon, we set off down to the Berber trailhead village of towards M&#8217;Zik, where we may take our lunch and then a welcome hot shower in the g\u00eete d&#8217;\u00e9tape of our guide, Mohamed at the village of Aroumd. the end of the trek. (Total walking approx. 4-5 hrs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>DAY 6:<\/strong> <strong>ARROUMD VILLAGE&nbsp;&#8211; IMLIL &#8211; MARRAKECH<\/strong>. The short walk down to Imlil or drive from Arroumd We then drive back to Marrakech where, on arrival, you will have some free time to explore the city\u2019s colourful souks and its celebrated Djemma El Fna Square.
